Day 1: Meet Me at Al Moudira
We recommend flying into Egypt to Cairo, and then getting a flight to Luxor, in order to arrive at the hotel at any time. Get settled, rest up, and we’ll see you in the morning.
Day 2: A Day in Luxor
This is our first official day together, meeting up for a welcome cocktail reception and dinner under the trees of the Winter Garden at Al Moudira.
Day 3: Boarding Our Vessel
We will check out of the hotel and travel to the Esna to board our things onto the boat. We’ll have some time to visit local temples and meander around the marketplaces before sitting down to dinner on the boat and setting sail.
Day 4: The Tombs of El Kab
After breakfast, we’ll dock on the East bank of the Nile and visit the fisherman's village as well as a tour through the El Kab Tomb before sitting down for a long lunch and wine tasting back on the boat. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive at the home of the Greco-Roman temple of god Horus in Edfu, and board the boat for a delicious dinner.
Day 5: Water Worship
After a nourishing breakfast, awaken the body with an optional kundalini meditation or barefoot walk along the riverbank. We’ll set sail for a day dedicated to the river, breaking throughout for swimming and island strolls. After a dinner tasting, we’ll relax while offering tarot readings and a tea ceremony before being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the water.
Day 6: Journey Through Sandstone Quarries
The Nile is at its narrowest between two mountain ranges, at the Gebel Silsileh. We’ll walk through a rare historic site, where Egyptians cut stone for many of their most famous temples. Setting sail for the remainder of the day, we’ll stop for one more swim before sitting down for dinner with wine pairings.
Day 7: The Closing Ceremony
After a night on the water and beneath the stars, we’ll stop in the river bend town of Kom Ombo built during the Ptolemaic period. The temple is known as the Crocodile Temple, dedicated to Sobek. In the evening, don your goddess wares for a luxurious long dinner followed by our Cleopatra Ball, complete with gilded costumes, live music, dancing, and more.
Day 8: Echoes of the Nile
Awake to the beautiful sight of the desert closing in on the river at Aswan Bridge. We’ll disembark carrying the imprint of still mornings, sun-warmed swims, sacred rituals, and the kind of connection that lingers long after the journey ends.
