  • The best way to travel between Cairo and Luxor is by internal flights. Approximately $115-$200 each way.

  • The best way to travel between Aswan and Cairo is by internal flights. Approximately $115-$200 each way

  • The best airline for Egypt is Turkish Air. Flights from most US cities are approximately $800 depending on booking window.

    We recommend booking early, but please note the rates are normally best within a 3-6 month window of the trip. We recommend setting a price alert with the knowledge that $800 USD is the average. Egypt Air also offers competitive pricing, but please note they do not serve alcohol on Egypt Air flights.

    Depending on which coast you are traveling from - Qatar, Emirates, and Lufthansa, also offer decent routes / connections.

  • Yes, you need a visa. Please only apply through the main evisa Egyptian site (visa2egypt.gov.eg) OR purchase in person upon arrival for $25.

    ** Please note: Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond your arrival date.

  • Yes! The ship does not charge a corkage fee and you are allowed 2 liters of alcohol into the country duty free. Please note Egypt has strict alcohol policies.

    If bringing in over the allotment you could be fined and charged an extremely high import tax. There is duty free available at the airport for $13 a bottle import tax.
